What Is Happening Today

Americans are living longer and healthier, thanks to better diet, better healthcare and safer living and working environments. Today, there are 34.7 million Americans over age 65 or 12.7% of the population. By 2030 people over age 65 will number 70.3 million, 20% of the population.1

Experts predict 50% of us will need some form of Long Term Care within our lifetime. Additionally, not all of us will be seniors when we need Long Term Care. In fact, today, 12.8 million people, who need help with everyday living, almost 40% are working age adults , ages 18 and 64.3
